Call for Proposals

Proposals are solicited. All participants are invited to give a talk. Papers on all aspects of historical and recent developments in the Mathematical Sciences (Pure and Applied Mathematics, Mathematics Education, Statistics, Operation Research, Computer Science, Engineering ...) and their applications to other fields of research and practice are very welcome. The conference will accommodate both the latest technical breakthroughs as well as general survey/framework type presentations. The Workshop will accomodate surveys, tutorials and discussions on open problems (in mathematical biology).

The scientific program of the conference consists of:

• Invited Lectures

The invited lectures will be 60 minutes (50+ 10 minutes).

• Contributed Talks

The length of contributed talks will be 30 minutes (25 + 5 minutes)

Poster Presentations

Graduate Students are encouraged to submit their ongoing work as posters. Time will be alloted for poster presentations

 

Selected papers of the conference will be published in a special volume of the "Journal of Cameroon Academy Of Science", JCAS.

All submissions and inquiries should be made to: org@bueaconference.com. Please use either pdf or MS Word format for your submissions.

All lecture rooms will be equipped with: beamer, laptop or PC, overhead projector. Chalk boards are also available. Computers will have Acrobat Reader and Microsoft PowerPoint installed. We recommend that speakers use their own laptop if their presentation requires special software or unusual symbols. Internet access is available.

Invitations: If you need a preliminary conference invitation letter in order to obtain travel funding from an/your institution or secure a travel visa, please pre-register and send your abstract and request to org@bueaconference.com.
